Will you be hosting any in-person events in 2020?
We are not hosting any in-person events for the remainder of the year. We will deliver the 2020 agenda through a virtual platform. Please note, we are not running an event for an individual city as done previously. This new virtual delivery is a great opportunity for you to connect with EAs in multiple cities and expand your network. We are combining the forums, and dates are available on the Event Calendar.

Is ELS Forum certified for continuing education credits?
Yes! The forum has been approved for recertification points from the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP.) How cool is that? We can also provide attendees with the ELS certificate of attendance. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding this.
What happens if I already registered for a 2020 forum?
Your registration was transferred to our first Virtual ELS Forum that took place on July 14-15, 2020. You should have received an email confirming your registration. If you weren’t able to attend those dates, you can transfer your registration to another forum - the sessions and speakers are the same. Please visit the Event Calendar and let us know which forum you’d like to attend instead. We’ll see you there!
Can I get refunded since the in-person forum is cancelled?
Registration is non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to send a colleague to attend in your place. Alternatively, we can provide you with a credit note for a future event. For changes in your registration or questions regarding this, please contact us as soon as possible.
Can I use a credit note towards the virtual event?
Yes! Please present your credit note to our team, and we will finalize your registration.
How do I access the virtual event?
You will need to download the ELS Events app on your smartphone. Open this link for direct download options. If you don’t feel comfortable using the link, please search for “Executive Leadership Support” in the app store.
What technology/equipment do I need to participate?
Though you are able to do everything with just your smartphone, we recommend you view the live streams on your computer or tablet while using your phone for other features, i.e. polling, submitting questions for instructors, etc. We are using Zoom to stream the sessions.
Will I ever need to be on camera or have a microphone?
For all sessions, attendees will automatically have their camera and mic turned off. We will make announcements for when to turn them on.
Will I get to meet and interact with other attendees and instructors?
Yes! We strongly encourage you to! There are a number of ways to connect with other participants within the ELS Events app, and we’ll show you how to do that during the “How To” happy hour.
Can I access the materials and recordings if I can’t attend the event live?
Materials will be available within the app as well as on a Google Drive. We will provide the link to the drive after the event takes place. Recordings of the instructor-led sessions will only be available within the app for a limited time. For forums, recordings will be available for 48 hours.
Will I receive a copy of the slides/handout?
Not all ELSx webinars will include slides/handouts, but if they are included, we got you! After the webinar, we'll send you an email that includes a copy of the materials.
Is the webinar recorded?
Each of our individual presenters sets the terms on recording and sharing their webinar, but most webinars are recorded and posted on the website within one week of the live ELSx. You can find previously recorded free webinars here. Recordings for our paid webinars are only available to those who registered and will be emailed privately to each registrant.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
You can request one by replying directly to the email that is sent after the live ELSx webinar. Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.
I registered, but I can no longer attend the webinar. What are my options?
We understand! If you can't join us live, you have two options.
1) If you can no longer attend the webinar on the day of the training, don't worry! You will still receive an email with the corresponding slides after the webinar has concluded. If applicable, the recording will be available for download here within one week of the live ELSx.
2) If you would like to receive a refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the event using the cancelation link found in the registration confirmation email that you received upon registering. PLEASE NOTE: Requesting a refund means that you will not be able to attend the live webinar and will not receive a recording nor slides.
