Are ELS events back in person?

Yes! In Person Forums are back! You can access the upcoming Forums here. We will continue to host Virtual Forums and ELSx Webinars throughout the year

 

What does a virtual ELS event look like?

We’re providing the same exciting content and educational components for you to access in real-time at home: critical soft and hard skills development; meaningful networking with leading experts and peers; inspiring self-reflection and confidence boosting; and the empowerment to find your voice, gain a new perspective, and take the next important steps towards your greatness.

 

I’ll need an approval letter for my exec. Can you provide one?

Absolutely! Request one here. Done and done!

 

Do you offer group discounts?

Sure do! Email us and we’ll get you and your crew set up.

 

Are ELS events certified for continuing education credits?

Yes! We can provide attendees with the ELS certificate of attendance. We recommend that you contact your professional association/organization to confirm that the certificate will suffice. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding this. 

 

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?

Registration is non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to send a colleague to attend in your place. Alternatively, we can provide you with a credit note for a future event. For changes in your registration or questions regarding this, please contact us as soon as possible.

 

Can I use a credit note towards any ELS event?

Yes! Please present your credit note to our team, and we will finalize your registration.

Virtual Events

How do I access the virtual event?

For the forum and seasonal series, you will need to download the ELS Events app on your smartphone. Open this link for direct download options. If you don’t feel comfortable using the link, please search for “Executive Leadership Support” in the app store. If you're attending Minds in Motion, the Zoom links will be provided via email the week before the event.

 

What technology/equipment do I need to participate?

For the forum and seasonal series, you are able to do everything with just your smartphone, however, we recommend you view the live streams on your computer or tablet while using your phone for other features, i.e. polling, submitting questions for instructors, etc. We are using Zoom to stream the sessions as well as the Minds in Motion events. Please note, for Minds in Motion, you do not need to download the ELS Events app.

 

Will I ever need to be on camera or have a microphone?

For all sessions, attendees will automatically have their camera and mic turned off. We will make announcements for when to turn them on.

 

Will I get to meet and interact with other attendees and instructors?

Yes! We strongly encourage you to! There are a number of ways to connect with other participants within the ELS Events app, and we’ll show you how to do that during the “How To” happy hour. We also encourage you to drop comments in the Zoom chat when available.

 

Can I access the materials and recordings if I can’t attend the event live?

For the forum and seasonal series, materials will be available within the app as well as on a Google Drive. We will provide the link to the drive after the event takes place. Recordings of the instructor-led sessions will only be available within the app for a limited time. For forums, recordings will be available for 48 hours. For the seasonal series, recordings will be available for a week. For Minds in Motion events, we will provide the link to a Google Drive, which will house all discussion recordings and slides, once the discussions are complete.

ELSx Webinars

Will I receive a copy of the slides/handout?

Not all ELSx webinars will include slides/handouts, but if they are included, we got you! After the webinar, we'll send you an email that includes a copy of the materials.

 

Is the webinar recorded?

Each of our individual presenters sets the terms on recording and sharing their webinar, but most webinars are recorded and posted on the website within one week of the live ELSx. You can find previously recorded free webinars here. Recordings for our paid webinars are only available to those who registered and will be emailed privately to each registrant.

 

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

You can request one by replying directly to the email that is sent after the live ELSx webinar. Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

 

I registered, but I can no longer attend the webinar. What are my options?

We understand! If you can't join us live, you have two options.

1) If you can no longer attend the webinar on the day of the training, don't worry! You will still receive an email with the corresponding slides after the webinar has concluded. If applicable, the recording will be available for download here within one week of the live ELSx.

2) If you would like to receive a refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the event using the cancelation link found in the registration confirmation email that you received upon registering. PLEASE NOTE: Requesting a refund means that you will not be able to attend the live webinar and will not receive a recording nor slides.
